areeba wins an award at the Mastercard MENA Leadership Forum 2018 in Paris for developing the Contactless Solutions in the Lebanese Market

areeba, has been presented with the Best Advancement in Migration to Contactless award at the second edition of the Mastercard MENA Leadership Forum, which took place in Paris, France from 4 – 7 March 2018. This award was granted to areeba for developing and enabling a wide range of contactless solutions including cards, bracelets, watches, stickers and mobile.

Hosted by Mastercard, a leading technology company in the global payments industry, the Forum brought together executives from a number of the region’s leading banks to discuss the latest developments in the payments industry. Held under the theme, ‘Partnering for Success, Future-Proofing Growth,’ the forum addressed key topics including big data, e-commerce, digital, cross-border payments and security.

In addition, the event celebrated the successful integration of Mastercard’s solutions and programs by financial organizations with a series of awards. Winners were recognized across 12 different categories focused on innovation, mobile payment solutions, commercial programs and safety and security.
