areeba and Visa announced the winners of their joint awareness campaign that was held across the educational sector in Lebanon from September 2019 to September 2020. An electronic draw was organized on October 15 2020 at areeba’s premises in the presence of a National Lottery Representative. The year-long campaign continued as planned to help accelerate the transformation into cashless payments and achieve financial inclusion.
Students and parents who settled their tuition fees using their Visa card either on areeba POS, or online via areeba’s Payment Getaway, were able to enter a draw to win vouchers from Virgin Megastore. One hundred Visa cardholders from various Lebanese banks won 500 USD electronics voucher from Virgin Megastore each, and four (4) educational institutions won 5,000 USD electronics voucher from Virgin Megastore each.
